Windows 7 Section

April 13, 2009 I uninstalled Windows 7 due to some irreconcilable problems. Windows Explorer is rather unstable when switching between different types of locations (network shares, local drives, Thumbnailed folders, indexed, non-indexed). It would lock up and become unresponsive very frequently.

I will be writing and collecting various tutorials for easing the transition to Windows 7. Here are some articles to get started:

• Windows Libraries in a Non-Indexed Network Location Windows 7 by default cannot index locations that are missing Windows Search 4.0
• Removing the beta's "Send Feedback" on each window! Registry key needs to be changed in order to remove it.
  set HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop\FeedbackToolEnabled to 0

March 31, 2009 Wiki section started. The plan: Publish main site content, including

• Assorted writings including those from college assignments, to other things.
• Family-related section.
• A publicly-editable wiki for upcoming projects.

January 7, 2009 konputer.org has recently been redesigned! In an attempt to make it navigable, Links and Hosted Here sections have been added to the main page. (which originally looked like crap or simply gave a 404 Error) So, go ahead and try to explore this web space... Maybe you'll find what you're looking for!

Cantconnect.com has been created! Features to follow: Free software list and repository, Troubleshooting guide for common computer confusion: hardware maintenance, spyware clean-up, and other commonly confusing topics.

ISP Map.com/.info have been registered and created. A visual map of the major Internet traffic routes will be created and updated to reflect their state. Also to include a searchable database of various ISP's, their IP ranges, and related data.
